Senior Web Application Developer - Temple City, CA - U.S. Citizen or Greencard preferred.

Work History
Experience at a high traffic web property preferred (100,000+ page views a day).  Experience in more than one area at said high traffic site preferred.

Languages / Frameworks
Experience with Python (Django Framework), JavaScript UI (Dojo Toolkit) preferred.  Some experience with PHP is a plus.  Experience with any open source scripting language for web development (Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby) considered. 

Data Awareness
Experience working with data heavy applications required.  Strong knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL databases highly desired.

Environment
High level of comfort in Linux or UNIX operating systems required.

Other Requirements
Some experience with some other kind of open source technology:  memcached, beanstalkd, Lucerne / Apache Solr, Sphinx Search, MongoDB, CouchDB, watir, Selenium, nginx, Cassandra, Infobright, Greenplum.   Experience with Subversion (SVN) or git preferred.

Requirements

5+ years in QA, including building test plans and test case execution

Contribute to imaging software strategy with particular focus on APIs and software's role in enabling applications to leverage key technologies
 
Drive imaging software architecture, identifying key interfaces with the software stack and functional partitioning around them
 
Write clear, concise and effective communications and act as a catalyst for others to understand mobile graphics and camera computing
 
This will include executive communication as well as cross-geography team alignment
 
Drive Android imaging architecture integration and development of key platform and camera-compute APIs to engage the camera software ecosystem
 
Drive performance automation and test engineering with tools and architectures to ensure a strong continuous engineering process
Become the primary architect driving Computational Imaging
Work to ensure effective third party IP integration
Provide architecture and functional documentation
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
BS Engineering (Physics or Electrical Engineering or similar field)
5+ years experience
 
Direct experience developing SW architecture and APIs for embedded SW in consumer devices
Excellent communication skills and approachable personality
Experience with GPGPU, OpenGL/ES, Direct3D, GLSL or related technologies
C/C++ programming skills on Android, Windows, Mac, or Ubuntu/Linux
A strong understanding of systems architecture issues
