Senior Java Developers needed immediately in the Bay Area!

Phase 3 Recruiting is looking to secure senior Java developers for our Bay Area client, an established and thriving software development company.  These are direct-hire opportunities for superb, ambitious Core Java Developers with 5+ years of industry experience. 

To be considered, candidates should be well-rounded engineers who work the full J2EE stack—i.e. front-end and back-end knowledge and experience: AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, Applets, as well as experience developing commercial web applications in a Linux (or Unix) environment and Oracle databases.  Of course, if you are a spectacular developer with exceptional front-end or back-end skills, we want to hear from you as well! Ideal candidates are those who work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and thrive on developing competitive web business applications.

Selected candidates will collaborate with a group of senior engineers developing cutting-edge mid-level to enterprise-level web applications; they will be responsible for a spectrum of assignments from working on new products, system and product enhancements, and systems architecture to bug fixes.

Required Skills:

5+ years of enterprise software development experience

Excellent understanding of object-oriented design patterns

5+ years of Java development

Experience with various Web technologies including JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Applets, etc.

Experience working in a Linux (or Unix) environment

Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle and/or Sybase)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills conducive to working with collaborative group of senior engineers

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues

BS in Computer Science (or similar quantitative discipline)

Preferred but NOT required:

Experience in multi-threaded programming

Additional requirements:

Organizational and problem resolution skills

Meticulous, detail oriented work skills

Ability to adapt to changing projects and departmental priorities

Willingness to work for mature “start-up” company, launched in 2003
