Phase 3 seeks experienced Vendor Management professionals, individuals with a history of successful and ongoing vendor management experience, with strong negotiation skills with legal contracts and service agreements.  We are looking for energetic, meticulous, and analytical superstars for this direct-hire opportunity in Houston, TX
 
Summary
The selected Vendor Management professional will oversee high risk vendors, specifically focusing on their financial, insurance, and security health, as well as regulatory compliance.  She or he will also oversee the quality of deliverables and service performance of our Houston client. 
 
Responsibilities:
Ensure vendors are evaluated and approved in accordance with regulatory and company polices.
Analyze vendor relationships and determines due diligence requirements and measures risks. Monitor, analyze and maintain vendor information and documentation.
Ensure accuracy and full transparency of commercial contracts.
Monitor vendor performance by maintaining an open line of communication with various business units.
Work with business units to ensure documentation is received and updated as needed.
Keep current on regulatory requirements.
Complete other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements & Qualifications
BS Degree in Business or related discipline
2+ years of purchasing, vendor-management, and contract negotiation
Knowledge/experience negotiating legal contracts and service agreements
Meticulous and analytical professional
Excellent interpersonal skills
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Decisive leader
