Sr. Mobile Software Engineer needed in Palo Alto, California

Phase 3 Recruiting seeks a Sr. Mobile Software Engineer to lead the software design and implementation of mobile applications for our client’s mobile platforms. We are looking for seasoned programmers with expertise in Objective C, Cocoa, and/or C / C++, with experience developing for iOS or Android. Strong protocol knowledge and experience are a must—including TCP/IP and network–systems programming.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the software design and implementation of mobile apps for one or more mobile platforms

Implement and maintain the client source tree

Work with UI designers to come up with UI workflow and graphics

Work with server engineers to come up requisite app-level communication protocols

Track and delegate tasks to junior mobile engineers

Provide mentoring to junior mobile engineers

 

Requirements:

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or similar quantitative discipline

2+ years of work experience in software design and development

At least 1 year of development experience on the iOS and Android platform

Passion for creating inventive UI experiences

Experience making good product and implementation decisions without much oversight

Knowledge in and experience with Objective-C, Cocoa, C/C++

Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming
