Senior Backend Web Developer needed in Palo Alto, CA

Phase 3 Recruiting seeks a Senior Backend Web Developer to design and implement a large-scale, scalable and modular website infrastructure. We are looking for talented programmers with deep LAMP experience. Strong experience with website infrastructure is also must.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement large-scale, scalable and modular website infrastructure

Work with other developers to implement, track, measure, and optimize our platform

Play a key role in new product development

Work with management to work through product ideas by fast prototyping and quick iterations

Requirements:

BS, MS, and/or PhD in Computer Science or similar quantitative discipline

Experience in website backend development for large-scale web sites

Deep experience in LAMP (apache, mysql, php)

Deep experience in website infrastructure development process and methodology

Deep knowledge in online video a plus

Proficiency in Flash a plus

Desire to work in a fast paced environment

Strong collaborative and communication skills / Attention to detail and quality
