Phase 3 Recruiting seeks an experienced WebLogic Application Server Administrator with architecture design and integration experience for a full-time job in Salt Lake City, UT. Our client is an international organization providing its products and services globally.

The selected WebLogic Application Server Administrator will maintain the integrity and security of our client’s Oracle Application through monitoring, patching, tuning, installing and troubleshooting its various systems. This person will design, build out, administer and support a mission-critical Oracle Weblogic 11g SOA Server. The WebLogic Administrator will be involved in the full development life-cycle of an Enterprise Integration Project from requirements through release to production. To be considered for this position, candidates must have WebLogic expertise.

Ideal candidates are passionate and accomplished Oracle / WebLogic systems design engineers, who enjoy learning and mastering new technologies, and mentoring others as subject-matter experts (SMEs).

Responsibilities
The WebLogic Administrator will . . .
Direct our client’s application deployments
Monitor and troubleshoot domains installed on both Linux and Windows OS.
Perform patch installations
Conduct performance tuning
Contribute to architecture design
Document architecture best practices
Work with fellow colleagues in IT to resolve production and systems issues
Complete tasks with limited supervision
Support software development and QA teams
Coordinate with internal and external users with ease
Coordinate with vendors on product support

Qualifications
To be considered for this job, candidates must meet these qualifications:
5+ years experience installing, configuring and administering Oracle middleware technologies, including Oracle Application Server 10g, Oracle Weblogic 11g SOA Suite, and JVM).
2+ years experience in Oracle Forms, Reports, JMS & JDBC
2+ years experience in Oracle HTTP Server, WebCache & Apache servers
Experience with Linux OS, Solaris, Tomcat, SOA, BPEL
Experience in shell scripting
Broad knowledge of various operating systems, databases, web applications, network and server hardware (principles and real-world functionality)

Preferred
Knowledge of networking, JAVA application programming, AIA, Point-to-point integration, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Agile PLM (the application product).
