Phase 3 Recruiting is seeking Quality Assurance Developers for our successful and stable client in Salt Lake City, Utah. Selected candidates will build and maintain applications in a team that is a comprised of developers, analysts, and architects. Our client works with agile development practices with a goal of delivering quality software. Your role will include gathering requirements, active participation in design sessions, and interaction with other technology groups.

This opportunity is for a strong QA Developer who is interested in carving out a career with a successful global company. Showing initiative while maintaining a demeanor of professionalism is critical. A demonstrated career commitment to testing and quality assurance is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a strong object-oriented C++/C#/Java background in reliable distributed real time systems on Unix/Linux/Windows platforms. Responsibilities will include designing, developing and executing automated tests, which will require programming in C, C++, Java, C#, or some scripting language. You must have the ability to understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints. You must also have experience selecting and developing appropriate test automation tools while applying the latest techniques in test automation (e.g. data-driven testing).

Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with various tools for automation, testing, and life cycle management
Strong C/C++/C# skills in a real time application development environment
Knowledge of database and performance tuning techniques
Strong analytical skills
Experience performing code reviews with development teams
Strong background in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents.
Experience working with development teams to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers, and other development test objects

Preferred Experience:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent multi-tasking skills
