Phase 3 Recruiting is seeking a Senior Web Developer for our successful and stable client in Salt Lake City, Utah. Selected candidates will build and maintain applications in a team that is a comprised of developers, analysts, and architects. Our client works with agile development practices with a goal of delivering quality software. Your role will include gathering requirements, active participation in design sessions, and interaction with other technology groups.

We are looking for a Senior Technologist/Subject Matter Expert in Web Technology. This is not a supervisory role, however lead experience is ideal. Your role will include active participation in all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, technical design, development, testing, release, and production support. The ideal candidate will have experience building partnerships with other technical teams in order to share knowledge, as well as experience working closely with other technical teams to build high quality systems using approved tools and development practices.

Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
7+ years of experience in Java Web Development
3+ years of Development experience with web frameworks such as Struts
3+ years of experience with RDBMS SQL
Database design and query optimization experience
UI/UX analysis and design experience
Working knowledge of Content Management Systems
Experience in building reusable components or frameworks
Experience working with teams located at different sites
Experience working with end users during various phases such as requirements definition, UAT and production support

Preferred Experience:
Detail oriented with a track record of working on full life cycle development projects
Excellent communication skills
Project Management skills
Strong background in AJAX, JavaScript, CSS and Web 2.0 Technologies
Strong knowledge of Object-oriented Design and Development
Experience designing websites for mobile devices
Experience with Test-driven development and automated testing tools
