Phase 3 Recruiting seeks mid-senior Perl Software Developers for direct-hire jobs in New York.
We are looking for experienced and innovative Perl developers for our NYC-based client, a successful ecommerce company. Ideal candidates will be independent and creative programmers who can solve complicated problems and complete sophisticated projects in a timely manner. Moreover, ideal candidates will have a passion for developing high-traffic websites and providing optimization, redundancy, fail over, load-balancing, and tiered architectures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2-5 years Perl experience
2-4 years’ experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
2-5 years of MySQL experience
3+ years of Linux experience
Preferred but NOT required:
AJAX
HTML::Mason
Web layout design
ImageMagick
PerlMagick
PHP
Bash
C, C++, and/or C#
mod_perl / Apache
Video editing
MySQL replication/optimization
Additional requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills - strong verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and problem resolution skills
Meticulous, detail oriented work skills
Ability to adapt to changing projects and departmental priorities
Details:
Title: Mid - Sr. Perl Developer
Number of Positions: four (4)
Salary Range: $85-108K DOE
Benefits: full
