Required skills and abilities
Front-end Web Development
PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML
LAMP architecture
Object-oriented design – both understanding and experience
Working knowledge of AJAX
Solid experience with JavaScript and JavaScript based tools and components such as jQuery
Familiarity with MVC model and templating engines such as Smarty
Experience with a wide range of web development technologies and frameworks
Ideal Candidates
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
7+ years of web application development experience
3+ years of experience focusing on hands-on development in a PHP/MySQL environment
Ability to rapidly develop high availability, high quality, and fast PHP applications
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Detail oriented, with excellent analytical problem solving skills
Work well in a team and within existing development standards
Ability to accept critical feedback
Experience with other scripting and programming languages preferred
Experience with creative visual presentation of complex data preferred
