Web Developers needed in Salt Lake City, Utah

Phase 3 Recruiting is seeking Web Developers for our successful and stable client in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is responsible for helping our client design and build out of the new Common Reference Data Architecture, which will provide a framework supporting real-time notification, instrumentation, workflow, and an optimized approach for processing.  

Responsibilities:
Analyze, Design, Develop, Test, Install, and Maintain server-side and web-based Java applications in a multi-tier environment.
Interface with users and other developers in order to determine the most cost effective approach to meet business requirements.
Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered business applications
Design, evaluate, and select tools necessary to build and support systems
Work on existing systems to improve architectural standards, functionality, performance, maintainability and reliability
Assist the production support team to resolve production issues

Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of Java, J2EE technologies, and JBOSS
Working knowledge in C and C++, as well as Perl is preferred.
Proficiency in Object Oriented design and analysis
SQL programming skills in Sybase and/or DB2
Experience working on Unix/Linux environments

Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Team leadership experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working both independently as well as part of a team
