Phase 3 Recruiting is seeking Senior Java Developers for our successful and stable client in Salt Lake City, Utah. Selected candidates will build and maintain applications in a team that is a comprised of developers, analysts, and architects. Our client works with agile development practices with a goal of delivering quality software. Your role will include gathering requirements, active participation in design sessions, and interaction with other technology groups.

We are looking for self-motivated candidates who are eager to work in a fast-paced environment, while participating in all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle. Ideal candidates will have experience with requirements gathering and analysis as well as project planning and implementation.

Requirements:
5+ years of Software Development experience
Requirements gathering
Hands-on core Java and J2EE experience
Experience supporting production environments
Strong relational DBMS experience that includes performance tuning
Strong skills in scripting languages using Perl and Shell
Experience with UNIX Operating System

Preferred Experience:
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment
Experience building complex queries and complex data models
Any experience in trading or order management systems will be a huge plus
