Phase 3 is actively looking for a strong MySQL Database Administrator.  Our client is a leader in marketing and technology services and this position will have the opportunity to make a difference in helping people through technology.  The ideal candidate will have experience with designing, implementing and maintaining the MySQL database.  This role will also include debugging, monitoring, and supporting the enterprise Java/PHP/C# applications, while working closely with the Operations, Development and QA teams in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.  
 
Required skills and abilities
3-5 years of experience with heavy MySQL database administration
Previous experience with SQLServer 2005/2008 and Oracle 10g
Experience with SAN
Detail oriented with the ability to handle feedback in a constructive way
Experience in a 24/7 production environment
Familiarity with Agile Development Practices
Experience with MySQL 5.0/5.1

The Ideal Candidate 
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Gentoo and CentOS)
Strong scripting ability in PHP and console usage
