Phase 3 seeks a strong Senior PHP Developer with Web Development experience to join our client’s software development team.  The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to assist with designing, building, and maintaining the software systems in the development of highly interactive web applications.  This will involve full life-cycle development, which will include new development as well as the modification of existing code.  You will be joining an exceptional team of designers and developers and play a key role in delivering scalable and high quality web applications 

Required skills and abilities

PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML

LAMP architecture is required

Object-oriented design – both understanding and experience

Working knowledge of AJAX

Solid experience with JavaScript and JavaScript based tools and components such as jQuery

Must be familiar with MVC model and templating engines such as Smarty

Experience with a wide range of web development technologies and frameworks

The Ideal Candidate 

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

7-10 years of web application development experience, with the last 3 years focusing on hands-on development in a PHP/MySQL environment.

Ability to develop high availability, high quality, and fast PHP applications quickly!

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

Detail oriented, with excellent analytical problem solving skills

Able to work well in a team and within existing development standards

Able to accept feedback

Experience with other scripting and programming languages is a huge plus!

Experience with creative visual presentation of complex data is a plus
