Software Development – Automation Engineers

Phase 3 seeks experienced software development automation engineers with a passion for creating test suites that automate the rigorous functionality involved in approving and distributing high quality casino games that must perform without error in 24x7 environments.

We are recruiting for direct-hire jobs with our Austin, TX – based client, a successful and growing casino gaming company.

Summary
The selected automation engineers will . . .
Create automated test case software using a variety of scripting languages.
Will utilize object oriented programming languages to systematically test, develop and maintain quality standards for company products.
Write automated test scripts in common scripting language: JavaScript, Python, Perl
Work with software development group through entire software development lifecycle, from inception to release.
Creatively solve complex problems.
Learn and adopt new technologies and platforms.
Travel on occasion.

Requirements/Qualifications
Experience with test automation (Microsoft Test Manager a plus) including web client automation
Experience writing automated test scripts using JavaScript, Python, and/or Perl
Working experience with a variety of Windows and/or Linux platforms.
Strong communications skills—verbal and written.
Strong analytical skills
Meticulous problem solving skills
Passion for developing superior products—i.e. producing games that people love
Self-starter with ability to work well with minimum supervision

Responsibilities
Ensure the quality of software that meets the needs of external customers.
Translate documented manual test cases to hands off automated execution.

Education
B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent and 3 plus years applicable experience.

Salary Range: $70-90K DOE
