Looking for a Chief Technology Officer for an Exciting Start-Up in San Francisco!


Phase 3 Recruiting seeks qualified candidates for a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a direct-hire opportunity with our San Francisco based client.  They are a swiftly growing mobile-apps and games software company, providing innovation to the exploding world of mobile applications—iOS and Droid.

We are looking for a leader who comes from the software development side of technology, a person with strong software development in Python and similar technologies, as well as a firm grasp of network infrastructures and operations.  Ideal CTO candidates will have broad experience ranging from code review and 3rd party integration, to vendor management and software architecture.  Ideal candidates will have experience with organizations who have numerous outbound I/O requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science (or similar degree like Electrical Engineering)
5-15 years of senior management experience
3-5 years of Python development experience
3-5 years of MySQL experience
Network operations management
Network infrastructure knowledge
Vendor management
Code review
Full SDLC management—development & QA teams
Agile (Scrum) environment and leadership experience

Preferred but NOT required Experience:
Tornado
Django
