WebLogic Administrator needed in Salt Lake City, UT

Phase 3 Recruiting seeks a WebLogic Administrator for a full-time job in Salt Lake City, UT.  Our client is an international organization providing its products and services globally.

We are looking for individuals who have WebLogic or Oracle Application Server administration and integration experience, as well as some Java coding experience.

The selected WebLogic Application Server Administrator will maintain the integrity and security of our client’s Oracle Applications through monitoring, patching, tuning, installing and troubleshooting its various systems. This person will help design, build out, administer and support Oracle Application servers, WebLogic 11g SOA servers, and similar technologies. The WebLogic Administrator will be involved in the full development life-cycle of an Enterprise Integration Project from requirements through release to production.  

To be considered for this position, candidates must have knowledge of and experience with WebLogic.

The WebLogic Administrator will . . .
Direct our client’s application deployments
Monitor and troubleshoot domains installed on both Linux and Windows OS.
Perform patch installations
Conduct performance tuning
Contribute to architecture design
Document architecture best practices
Work with fellow colleagues in IT to resolve production and systems issues
Complete tasks with limited supervision
Support software development and QA teams
Coordinate with internal and external users with ease
Coordinate with vendors on product support

To be considered for this job, candidates must meet these qualifications:
3+ years experience installing, configuring and administering Oracle middleware technologies, including Oracle Application Server 10g, and JVM)
1+ years of Java coding experience
1+ years experience in Oracle Forms, Reports, JMS & JDBC
1+ years experience in Oracle HTTP Server, WebCache & Apache servers
Experience with Linux OS, Solaris, Tomcat, SOA, BPEL
Experience in shell scripting
Broad knowledge of various operating systems, databases, web applications, network and server hardware (principles and real-world functionality)

Preferred experience:
1+ years of administering Oracle Weblogic 11g SOA Suite
Knowledge of networking, JAVA application programming, AIA, Point-to-point integration, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Agile PLM (the application product).
